    Description

    This is a very high quality and sharp looking wire made in the USA. This is a shielded wire, the inside conductor is 20 AWG silver plated OF copper wire that is stranded with 19 strands. It has a polyimide film (Kapton) insulation with PTFE covering. The color of the inside wire is red. This is then shielded with a silver plated OF copper shield. This cable then has a polyimide film (Kapton) outside insulation. This is a very high temp. wire.  This would be good for audio and other applications. This is lighter and has a much smaller outside diameter than the same size with just PTFE insulation. The OD of this wire is 0.0695 inch (1.77mm).  Wire with polyimide film is stiffer (not as flexible) as wire with PTFE  insulation.  This is a 25 foot length of wire, if you buy more than one I will ship it as a  continuous length.
