Andersen & Vreeland Orbital X 12x18 Platemaker / Washout Machine

Andresen & Vreeland Orbital X 12x18 Platemaker. Includes exposure, washout, and 3 plate drying trays. Consistent exposure, washout, and drying are key to good photopolymer plates. Boxcar is rumored to use something similar to this for their platemaking. I think they have a bigger one. This is fine for Windmill sized plates, more than fine really. Needs bulbs, a thorough cleaning, and possibly a new film coversheet. Unit came from a university and was allowed to have emulsion residue build up inside it. I did clean it a little bit. It was pretty easy, but I have not taken the time to clean it out. I think it will be just fine once it's cleaned up. Several bulbs broke when I moved it. It has one or two with it still. The bulbs have a lifespan and need to be replaced periodically. With no knowledge of when they were last changed they should be considered timed-out anyway. If you are in the Texas region and need this moved I can refer you to someone who handles printing/bindery equipment.  It will be between you and him to negotiate any fees, terms, conditions for moving.  However, this person has moved presses out of my business before and knows what he is doing in my opinion.
