Golding Improved Pearl Letterpress No. 11 11” x 7” 1901

Description

I got this press from Duluth, MN.
The press has a throw off lever,
two small pulleys that were for steam drive and idle spinning. It has a hand
brake and belt shifting lever is currently removed to make space for the new electric motor.  It has a
7" x 11" chase which says "No. 3" on it but i'm quite sure this is an Improved No. 11. press.
It has 2 new rollers with trucks from T

The press parts move freely, it does get a little tight when the platen squeezes together against the paper.

I added a
600w 110v Brushless Servo Motor sold by Vevor.
No counter, print tray, or foot treadle. I have not printed with this press recently so it may need some fine tuning of the roller height and pressure.
There is a crack in the iron near where the inking tray attaches to the press but it does not effect any moving parts.
