This box celebrates a time gone by when hats were in vogue and the boxes were as lovely as the item contained inside. See photos for sizing, condition, etc. Enlarge the images on your device. It can be helpful to see details more clearly. Message me ANY questions. I try not to list a ton of redundant info about the items pictured as I try to make sure the pictures/title/description tell enough of the story.
All items I sell are checked for flaws seen by the naked eye. Pieces are typically pre-owned, hand-picked by me and will show signs of wear. This is considered normal. If anything is above and beyond this, I will note it and/or photograph it. I prefer there be no surprises. A happy, repeat customer is always my goal!
NOTE ABOUT VINTAGE:
These items are in many cases 20 to 80 years old. They have been loved, worn, used and will in many cases, show signs of wear. This is considered normal. I rarely, if ever use the word pristine, excellent or like new, especially when talking about vintage. It sets up the expectation the item is like brand new. Jewelry and hats can show patina and/or wear, and often does. Oils from our skin can impact the item over the years.
I sometimes use words like good/great working condition, great item, beautiful, lovely, stunning, etc. This again, does not mean perfect, untouched, or pristine. It means that as a reseller of vintage items I SEE and RESEARCH what else is out there and am offering an opinion. Your opinion may differ, as opinions often do, that’s where you need to be diligent about asking specific questions and researching it on your own too, so that YOU have a comfort level with your bid and purchase.
I prefer to sell items that do not have loose stones or crystals, or pins that come undone in a second! If this happens, I will disclose this to you.
