Shown is Cecil Sandford with his MV Agusta 125cc Bialbero DOHC worksracer, seen in the paddock. He is ready to go to the starting line of the 1952 Spanish Grand Prix, which was held on October 5, 1952 at the circuit of Montjuich in the Spanish city of Barcelona.
He finished the race in 3RD position, but he won the 125cc world championship that year on the photographed machine!
We have more photographs of Cecil Sandford, during the race and in the paddock with Count Domenico Agusta.
The MV Agusta 125cc dohc Bialbero was a very succesful racing bike, with which Cecil Sandford and Carlo Ubbiali won several world championship titles.
