Raceday, 250cc Italian Grand Prix (aka Nations Grand Prix), circuit of Monza, September 14, 1958.
Shown on the far left is MV Agusta factory rider Tarquinio Provini, two mechanics are working on his MV Agusta 250cc Bialbero DOHC works factory racers.
Provini would become 250cc world champion that year.
During the Italian GP he was forced to retire due to mechanical difficulties.
The MV Agusta 250cc dohc Bialbero was a very succesfull racing bike, it was based on the 125cc Bialbero with which Cecil Sandford and Carlo Ubbiali won several world championship titles.
