    Description

Raceday, 250cc Lightweight T.T. Isle of Man, June 3, 1958.
Shown on the right is MV Agusta factory rider Tarquinio Provini, holding his Barrufaldi goggles, waiting for the two mechanics to finish his MV Agusta 250cc Bialbero DOHC works factory racer. On his right we see famous MV racing team leader and very succesfull racer Nello Pagani, while 2 MV mechanics prepare the MV Agusta 250cc Bialbero.
Provini would WIN the race with an average speed of
    76.89 mph
(123.74 kmh) AND he would become 250cc world champion that year with the photographed machine!
Provini had a very succesfull season, as not only he would win the race, he also would become the 1958 250cc world champion!
The MV Agusta 250cc dohc Bialbero was a very succesfull racing bike, it was based on the 125cc Bialbero with which Cecil Sandford and Carlo Ubbiali won several world championship titles.
This is a very nice and very rare photo that reflects a wonderful era of MV‘s motorcycle history in a wonderful way. This is your rare chance to own this photo, therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8" x 12" (ca. 20 x 30 cm). It makes it perfectly suitable for framing!
