You are looking at a
VINTAGE ROUND SOLID BENT WOOD CHEESE BOX COMPLETELY COVERED WITH A BEAUTIFUL MULTI-COLORED FLORAL AND SCROLLED RIBBON MATERIAL WHICH HAS QUILTING BACKING UNDERNEATH, ON TOP, SIDES, AND INSIDE
. The lid is covered in a unique way with pleats and a bow type center,  which is all still very clean, no holes, rips, tears, odors, etc.. Also, the inside of the lid and box has a piece of what appears to be a thick round poster board. We did pull a small area out to show the backing included, plus to show an area of the wood. We were kinda shocked at how well the wood looked, and kinda made us want to pull it all off to see and show all of the condition of the wood cheese box. (Sure you will question the inside bottom area picture whether the bottom poster board is round or uneven, but this is the area we pulled up to show the wood and cloth, and we guarantee it is round. It can be put back very even easily).  We did lightly feel all areas of the cheese box thru the material and it feels like it's in great shape, but can't tell or show exactly what it looks like without taking off all the cloth covering. It measures from side to side of the lid 15 1/2" in diameter, top to bottom with the lid on 5 1/8" tall. Hope you can zoom in on the pictures to see how clean, and nice the material is. The weight is 5 lbs. 15 oz. wrapped for shipping. This will take what the Post Office considers as an oversized box which adds to shipping rate, and is calculated by your Zip Code. This is one of the nicest cloth covered/decorated one's I've seen. Would definitely be great for a Sewing Box, Memory Box, Storage Box, etc..

I strive to describe my items to the fullest, honestly, and with help from someone else due to my condition. My items are package securely. SORRY I DO NOT OFFER FREE OR DISCOUNTED SHIPPING. (There may be occasional exceptions). I've learned by experience if I do, sometimes the sold item ends up being almost free, or very little monies is made on the item because of high shipping prices that we still have to pay. Plus, NOW eBAY NOT ONLY GETS A PERCENTAGE OF THE SELL, BUT SHIPPING ALSO. And would like to add, the Postal Service has went up drastically on shipping. I have lost many times on Shipping Charges, which is OK, and know that's why Shipping may seem a little high. You will always see your Shipping Charges sticker on your package when you receive it, which is not like Pay Pal sticker that does not show the Shipping Charges you actually paid. I don't think on most of our Collectible Items we're PRICE GOUGERS. I really don't see how some make any money on eBay. Maybe that's why there's Millions of eBay Shoppers now. eBay is a wonderful way to purchase items you can't find, would like to have, didn't know existed, and could live without. Collector's like me and you LOVE IT.  I DO MY SHOPPING ON eBAY, mostly when I need something. GREAT PRICES!!! However, sometimes you pay more in Shipping than what you pay for your Purchase. We have occasionally sold an item and the Buyer would end up getting it FREE because of the actual Shipping Charges. But isn't it FUN!! If you're an eBay Shopper, expect to take that risk because of Shipping charges. It's a WONDERFUL WAY TO SHOP though, without having to get out in the crowd's, pay outrageous prices, saves on the PRICE GOUGERS for gas, and you at times can STAY OUT OF THE RAIN, HEAT, AND COLD. When you purchase an item for a GIFT, receive it in the mail, it's like Christmas every time for YOU since you get to open it first. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding, or purchasing.

(I am selling most of my collectible items and many donations because I need the money. I have a Medical condition with my eyes whereas they are closed. The Friday after Christmas 2012 will be 4 years. I have also developed other Medical Problems during these years. I have to travel out of town once a week, and sometimes out of State. Dr.'s still don't know what's wrong. Calling it a "MEDICAL MYSTERY" now.
