    If your house faces east/west, your house will shade your sign half the day, it is recommended that you move your sign further away from the house and trees.
    If your house faces north/south you will get more direct sunlight, however, your house can still shade your sign if too close as well as during the seasonal changes, the earth changes it's axis and that can also effect getting 8 hours of sunshine a day.
