    Description

A superb and rare image of the magnificent
    Suzuki RK65
    Grand Prix racer of
    1967
and Hans Georg Anscheidt during the 50cc (West) German Grand Prix that was ridden on the ultra fast circuit of Hockenheim on
    the 7
    th
    of May 1967
    .
Hans Georg Anscheidt is seen on his way to victory, as he won the race with an average speed of
    89.23 mph
(143.6 kmh)! Not only that, he was also on his way to win the 50cc World Championship of 1967!
The Suzuki RK 65 was a work of art. Even though its capacity was only 49.7cc, it featured two (!) cylinders with a bore and stroke of only
    1.28
    x
    1,18”
    (32.
    5 x 30
mm)! Initially it has a whopping 12 speed gearbox, but that grew to no less then
    14 in
1966. The machine was build like a Swiss watch, delivered a power output of 17.5 hp at 17,000 r.p.m. (this is 350 hp at 1,000cc…) and weighed only
    128 lbs
    (
    58 kg
). Its top speed was a massive
    177,03 mph
    (
    177 km/h
    )!
This is your rare chance to own a
    non period
image that reflects a very interesting piece of Suzuki’s glorious history. Therefore it is printed in a nice large format of ca. 8" x 11.8" (ca.
    20 x 30
cm) so it will be a beautiful collectable for framing.
Shipping costs will only be $ 7.00 regardless of how many photos you buy.   For 5 or more photos, shipping is free!
(Note: A. Herl, Inc. does not appear on photo, for ebay purposes only)
