Vintage Carved Shorebird Piper Decoy - Unsigned hand Painted Snipe ? Loon ?

Description

I am listing several decoys & wood carvings from the same local Ct Estate . I am not a expert on the these so not sure what type of shorebird this one is or maybe a small loon. It's in very good condition and is handpainted with glass eyes and has no breaks or cracks .it is 10 1/4" tall and the decoy is 7"  long and 2" wide and 4 tall.
