Little April Shower" the adorable Field Mouse from Walt Disney's Bambi collection.
The Field Mouse was and still is the rarest figurine from the WDCC.
It is a Numbered limited Edition of only 7500.
The Bambi series had 2 limited editions, the other limited edition piece is the Bambi and Flower as a single sculpture.
This Field Mouse is in mint condition and comes complete with original box and COA.
It measures approximately
5 1/2” tall, 6” across and the base measures about 3” x 2 1/2”.
The “plussing” (what Walt Disney called the little extras added to any project to make it more interesting) on this sculpture is the mouse’s black, metal tail, along with the drops of water on the leaves and base (acrylic or glass) and the Austrian crystal dewdrop suspended above his paws.
The production mark is a steamboat wheel denoting the first production year of 1992; the wheel honors Mickey Mouse's debut in 'Steamboat Willie' (1928), and the piece is numbered 4013/7500, with “50th Anniversary Limited Edition” painted on the base in gold.
